Makerspaces: Implementing One In Your School

Course Description

Makerspaces provide the tools and space to allow students to collaborate and share knowledge.Now that you’ve got a Makerspace, this training will help all staff develop the skills and confidence to utilize the resource with their students.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • identify components of the Engineering Design Process
  • implement the Engineering Design Process with planned activities for the Makerspace
  • practice the Engineering Design Process with an activity during the training
  • identify ways to incorporate Makerspaces resources into their content areas
