Coaching
A planned discussion about one's own teaching. This is in-person, remote, or with one's peers.
TIE Conference
A planned integration with our annual hybrid conference. Share research, explore, and meet as a cohort during the conference.
Book Study
A chapter-by-chapter study and discussion of a longer text.
"Take Home" Course
A PDF-based, shareable guide. These are often on a process (such as research or change) that illuminates the main topic.
Online Workshop
A cohort meeting or activity that takes place at a set time online.
"In-Person" Workshop
A voice-and-choice-based spin on a traditional day of PD.
Microlearning
A series of short, focused activities sent via email. Each item takes less than 10 minutes to complete and are spaced to boost retention.
Asynchronous Course
An online, self-paced module(s) of activities, short readings, and assessments. They are often competency-based and flexible.
