TIE Membership is an annual district or agency-level subscription to assist school districts to leverage and maximize resources. Membership benefits are available to every teacher and administrator within a member organization. TIE Membership fees and benefits are based on K-12 district student enrollment.

Shared OverDrive Collection

A free benefit to all staff in TIE Member Districts!

TIE Member Districts are eligible to join a shared OverDrive Digital Collection for Schools. This is a great way to leverage funds to access digital content.

Participation provides schools access to a shared collection of digital titles. A few features that have been especially popular with our members are:

How it works for TIE Member Schools
TIE South Dakota Member Schools will have the ability to join the shared collection for a single annual fee based on enrollment. The annual fee is applied 100% towards the selection of titles for the shared collection. Schools will have the ability to access any title within the shared collection. A new benefit to all TIE Member districts!

Free online technical training from ITPro TV

ITPro TV provides entertaining and engaging videos hosted by IT professionals. These videos are organized by vendor certification exam and by exam objective so you can select an area to focus on. In addition, the ITPro TV subscription provided by TIE allows access to Virtual Labs (vLabs), practice tests and a Questions and Answers area. Tier 2-6 can receive an online account to enroll in these classes.

TIE Member Districts are able to receive free technical training from ITPro TV, courtesy of TIE.

Each member district can sign up for one ITPro TV account per district. This account can be shared among all IT staff in the district. Click here for the signup form.

ITPro TV content
The ITPro TV course library contains all their videos, along with content that is “coming soon”. One can view ITPro TV videos live or one can watch the recordings. Courses include Cisco, Microsoft, CompTia and more. The courses are organized for both beginners and more experienced users. Every course has a general overview of topics. If you are getting started, watch the videos in the order provided. If you need a review on selected topics, check out the overview where the official exam objectives are listed and linked to the episode that covers the topic. In addition, users can download the courses to watch them anytime.
