Welcome to K-8 Computer Science Fundamentals

Technology & Innovation in Education (TIE) proudly invites all full-time K-8 teachers, specialists, and administrators to sign up for a FREE, one-day workshop that will prepare them to teach computer science as an integral part of math, science and ELA. Code.org engages students in problem solving, critical thinking, analyzing and collaboration.

What’s in a workshop?

In-person instruction including an intro to computer science, pedagogy, overview of the online curriculum, teacher dashboard, and strategies for teaching “unplugged” classroom activities.

Attendees will receive Code.org swag, a complete curriculum guide, a certificate of completion, classroom supplies for the unplugged activities and 6 CEU Hours toward one CEU Credit!
