Technology & Innovation in Education (TIE) proudly invites all full-time Elementary educators and support staff, to sign up for a NO COST, one-day workshop that will prepare them to teach computer science as an integral part of math, science and ELA. Code.org engages students in problem solving, critical thinking, analyzing and collaboration.
What’s in a workshop?
In-person instruction including an intro to computer science, pedagogy, overview of the online curriculum, teacher dashboard, and strategies for teaching “unplugged” classroom activities and online “plugged” lessons.
Attendees will receive Code.org swag, a curriculum guide, a certificate of completion and 6 CEU contact hours. All attendees will also receive lunch.
