TIE Regional Roadshow training

Our Regional TIE event is coming up!

On our agenda this year:

  • What’s New in Microsoft and Google
  • Programs that Support Computer Science from both Google and Microsoft
  • Scratch
  • Exploring Coding Extensions

Participants will:

  • Acquire a basic understanding of Microsoft tools: Sway, PowerPoint Recorder and Office Lens to hack the classroom
  • Understand the advantages of using the new Google Sites
  • Compare and contrast the computer science resources from both Microsoft and Google
  • Experience Scratch integration and BlockCode
  • Explore the several hands-on tools for coding extensions including:  Ozobots, Dash, Sphero, Makey Makey and Micro:Bit
  • Consider next steps for implementation and integration
