Differentiated Instruction – When teachers have a variety of instructional strategies they can address diverse student learning needs. Differentiated instruction places students at the center of teaching and learning and student needs drive instructional planning. It is a way to enhance learning for all students by engaging them in activities that respond to particular learning needs, strengths, and preferences.
Project ENRICH – seeks to improve instructional practices which lead to increased understanding and practical

Strategies Booklets – have been produced by TIE staff for immediate use by teachers. We have several reading experts on staff that can provide in-service on these books or other literacy topics. http://www.sdesa6.org
Curriculum Mapping Workshop – This consisted of three initial days of training. It will be followed up by two days of training in January and three more days next June.
Instructional Strategies - Individual teacher capacity can be increased through the use of the nine instructional strategies identified by Robert Marzano and his research colleagues. This type of workshop can be offered directly to teaching staff or as a train-the-trainer model with instructional facilitators.
